The power to weight ratio is perfect. It is geared for the 60-70 mph sweeping curves that I love to accelerate out of quickly! I love this bike. I wish I still had it. But I traded it for a 1992 BMW Bumblebee dual sport to ride to Batopillas, Mexico in April of 2005. My trip report is on http://www.iluvmc.blogspot.com
